Admittance and Services
Visiting Hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00. Entrance fee $41 MXP. Children under 13, students, teachers and senior citizens presenting a valid ID, do not pay. Free admission on Sunday. There is a fee if you are willing to shoot with a video camera. Guided tours by appointment.
Synopsis
The museum opened in 1956, in a 18th century building that represents the Baroque style developed in Northern Mexico. The exhibition lead us through the history of Nuevo Leon, from the Prehispanic settlements, the Evangelization, Colonial period, Independency, modern and contemporary Monterrey. The collection is conformed by Prehispanic objects, documents, Retablos, sculptures, weapons, paintings, clothing and furniture of the 18th and 19th centuries.
